Plus, the author lost points because of the lengthy info dumping scene, towards the end. I think my only real complaint was with a few of the sex scenes. Count me out, I’m done. Looking for beautiful books? I was really fond of Abby’s dog – Newton – who was, as Sam says, a condo-sized junkyard dog. But this is truly horrible. However, as a standalone read, this krwntz completely flat for me. Reasonably explicit but infrequent. Krentz did a decent job developing the relationship, even though they do jump into bed the first night, totally ruining the anticipation, sadly.
